I worked for many different companies, usually as book keeper. That period was very important for me because I was given an opportinity to create my own business style and also knowledge about main economic position in our country.

Now, I am working for HVB Bank like Account Manager. This is something new for me, and it is very challenging. My job is hard, fulfillding and responsible at the some time. It will give you chance for upgrading, if your work gets hight marks by the Branch Manager. My job description is: acquisition of new private clients and work as account officer for business clients.

There is a lot of paper work, and it can be very boring. Some of our clients can be very demanding and hard understanding. It takes a lot of energy and time. But when you get salary, everything is forgotten. It is bigger than salary of my previous jobs. Take it or live it!

This system, a new brand in our country consists of many different parts of our industry such as Knjaz Milos from Arandjelovac, Banat from Vrsac, Bambi from Pozarevac...

My Company has got about 1200 people who work there, but unfortunately many of them can become unemployed. In my oppinion, the company started to grow very quickly after many important changes in our society. I take part in the quality control from farms to the Dairy, in rural parts of our country. I check up on our farmers, give them advice how to take care of cattle, how to produce much better quality of milk, and I am responsible for development of farms and making business much more profitable.

Sometimes, my job is very stressful and difficult, but sometimes I enjoy it, which helps me survive between all these awkward situations, problems and people who do not like me and my company.

I was a student at the College of Economics “Prota Mateja Nenadovic” in Valjevo.The education lasted three years and I studied Management of Organizations. There were a lot of subjects and activities. I had to attend almost all classes because that was a condition if I wanted to take and pass my exams and I also had practical training which helped me to pass them. I worked on many seminar papers and presentations for different subjects. Sometimes professors organized seminars and visits to companies, banks and exhibitions for students.

The good side of my studies was that classes were organized very well and I had opportunity to choose some subjects; we had a Student’s Festival in which we could present our hobbies, sports competitions between colleges and students parties. I was a member of many working teams and a member of women’s volleyball team which represented our school in sports competition.

On the other hand, bad aspects of my studies were that I didn’t have enough training in companies which can help me in my future career.

As a consultant for economic relations in the Regional Chamber of Economy of Valjevo, I am responsible to the Managing Board and Secretary.

My main focus is on monitoring and analysing foreign trade, economic policies and conditions in the business sector. Another important part of my job is dealing with members, giving information and consulting services. In fact, promotion of regional economy abroad through fairs, exibitions, business meetings is the third important part of my job.

At present, I am dealing with specific questions, and I am working on projects such as styding the process of trade liberalizations, preparing the National Exibition Serbia 05 in Moscow, Partners-Eurochambers initiative, Customs Law seminar, preparing for public issuing of certificates and attesting the documents in export/import activities.

First of all, I find satisfaction, challenge and fulfulment in my job. Furthermore, it provides opportunities of continuing training, business travel, and concrete help for members. These advantages offset to a large extent unmeasurable results of Chamber services, impossibility to satisfy all interests of its members and longer working time on the other hand.

I work in the Tax Office in Valjevo. The Tax Office is a government institution, and the department of Valjevo reports to the Head Office in Belgrade, which is responsible to the Ministry of Finance. We are headed by the General Manager.I work as a field inspector. That means that I go to a chosen company or enterprise and inspect finance through their balance sheet, accounting and tax payment. I check cost-benefit analysis and profit, accounting and payment of social insurance with the wages. I prepare reports about every subject I have finished and make inspection documents. Last week I worked in Mionica, in Krusik ‘’Investment Casting” company.What I like about my job is that it’s not an office job. It is exciting, with a lot of frequent changes. I often change sectors, sometimes it is metal production, sometimes building construction, wholesale or retail, tourism…However, sometimes it can be rather hectic and beat hard, especially when you have to drive a car in a snowstorm or on icy roads, or if your car stops nowhere and you wait for someone to help you.
